Authentic Gypsy Music

The music of the Gypsies (or Roma) has fascinated people for over centuries. Giani Lincan traveled to remote villages in which he studied the indigenous music of the Roma. In the musical performances provided by the Giani Lincan Ensemble, traces of the Gypsy traditions remain visible through a combination of several styles of music. With his high level of musicality, Giani Lincan has proven to be remarkably prominent in several European concert halls.

Compositions for Cymbalom and Chamber Orchestra

The cimbalom master Lincan Giani is a composer and arranger of Romanian and Hungarian music for the cimbalom and string orchestra. In 2005, Giani Lincan started his first project for the cimbalom and string orchestra with Die Haerlemsche Musyccamer.

Jazz made in Romania

The jazz music performed on the cimbalom by Giani Lincan brings you to a new and exciting musical territory. Giani Lincan has broadened the horizon of this ancient instrument.; whereas the cimbalom previously was intended for Gypsy music only, Giani Lincan now combines the cimbalom with jazz music.
