OLOX is the creative union between Andreas Jones and Zarina Kopyrina which is a fusion of heart rhythms and electronic sounds mixed with ethnic songs from the native Sakha people from Siberia characterized by animal, bird and deep nature vocals.

ZARINA was born in a small village in Sakha (arctic Siberia) and was three years old when she started to learn the language of the birds and animals. Her voice takes its breath from traditional Sakha culture and is truly an instrument. She is the creator of “arctic beatbox” - the reindeer breath and is the author of “Neoshamanic Healing.”

ANDREAS was born to a Greek-Armenian family of healers and musicians and was four years old the first time he played the drums. He is the creator of a unique drumming technique where one person can become a multi-instrumentalist. His vocals are rooted in ancient Armenian singing and Tibetan bon chanting.

THIS year, Olox headlined Lucidity Festival, RelaxPansion, OmRising, Beloved and played multiple shows at Burning Man. Olox also took part in the international forum Arctic Circle-2015 in Iceland, also at the Bioneers Conference and in the French-American Arctic expedition Pax Arctica (DeLong Islands) sponsored by the Prince Monaco Foundation. In 2018, Olox was an expert for Stereofuture Russian Music Awards and was endorsed by the Bose company in Russia.

Maestro Jivan Gasparyan is recognized as the most accomplished and influential musician in the history of the duduk.
But more than a musician, he is an icon, a living embodiment of the history of Armenian traditional, folk music. He has become a true cultural hero of his culture. Jivan Gasparyan is a musician, who during his seventy years of professional career has earned global recognition for an unassuming instrument, turning the shepherd's flute into a rising star of Hollywood.

Jivan JR is the prodege of his grandfather Jivan Gasparyan. His 23 years of playing on duduk has lots of accomplishments from UNESCO, first prize in Armenia and lots of other prizes, cds, recordings, Grammy winning producers and musicians like Peter Gabriel, Michael Brook, Zucchero, Larry Klein and many more legends including his master Jivan Gasparyan.

Gennady Tkachenko-Papizh is internationally well known on Internet Space, finalists of Got Talent Shows.

Olox are glad to share with you an enthralling trip into the mysterious, enigmatic spiritual world of The People of the Far North – The Sakha People, who's beliefs include that all the Universe is divided into three worlds: The Higher (Overhead) the Middle and the Lower.
Higher Overhead World is light and clean, it is a monastery of 9 Deity's each one of them responsible for the different problems of humans. The Deity's are called to harmonize the relations of people and nature in these struggles. The sounds of the Higher world assist art, wisdom, awareness enlightenment connection, help's people, to free themself from prejudices and that which is artificial in the world.
The Middle World is intended for people and spirits. The sounds of the Middle World fill with virtue & love, the whole Universe and are in harmony with nature.
From time to time wicked forces from the Lower World attack people, but they can resist, asking forces from the spirits of the Middle World and from Deity's of the Higher World to aid them. Sounds of the Lower World are sent to release people from fear, grief, illnesses, hatred and cruelty.
These concepts are reflected in Olox's music, by playing uniquely different musical instruments combining, both folk and newest electronic this creates a vivid fusion of music. In songs the human voice is used to recreate sounds of nature, creatures, blended with singing in the Sakha language, it`s hoped you maybe able to feel the energy of unity, all pure and be able to enjoy the mysticism of the music. To release the sleeping force with in us all.
Each composition is dedicated to certain Deity or Spirit, reflecting the pressing questions of all humankind.
Where ever you go, in spirit, Olox - Life is all ways with you.
